Owner of May Day Hill in Manchester, Jamaica. May Day Hill was left in trust for another Thomas Bygrave, presumably the son.
Four children were born to Thomas Bygrave and his wife Hannah: Richard (baptised 30/08/1798 in Vere); John (baptised 10/12/1799 in Vere, aged 3 months); Jane (baptised 01/08/1803 in Clarendon); Thomas (born 18/09/1804 and baptised 14/01/1805 in Vere).
Mrs Hannah Bygrave, wife of Thomas Bygrave Esquire of May Day Hill, died at Green Pond on Thursday the 17th day of April, + was buried at the same place on the Saturday following, aged 38 years, six months + 18 days.
Thomas Bygrave aged [blank] years was buried at May Day Plantation, 14/10/1819.
