Son of Anthony Hodges II (q.v.). Died s.p. 1799, whereupon according to Vere Langford Oliver his uncle Jeremiah Hodges (q.v.) inherited his estates in Britain and the Caribbean [which must have been under the entail in the will of Anthony Hodges I]. Under his own will, Anthony Hodges III left his entire estate to his brother-in-law Godschall Johnson I.
