Biography

Slave-owner in Manchester, Jamaica. Alive in 1817 but deceased by 1820. Her enslaved people were inherited by Eliza Abell.

  1. Eliza Abell, reputed daughter of William Abell by Sarah White, a "free mulatto", born 10/01/1808 and baptised 03/08/1813 in St Elizabeth.

  2. Possibly also Sarah White "free mulatto", whose three reputed children by Henry Palmer (q.v.) were baptised in St Elizabeth, 1802-1826.

  3. James White, aged 25, a "negro" belonging to Sarah White, "free mulatto", was also baptised in St Elizabeth on 03/08/1813.
