Francis East of the parish of St Andrew, Jamaica. Son of John East and his wife Martha, baptised in St Andrew 05/07/1678. Sir Edward Hyde East was his grandson, the son of Francis's second son Edward (1732-?) and Edward's first wife Amy nee Hall.
Member of Assembly for St Andrew in 1716.
