Elizabeth Susanna Breon, daughter of Edmond Breon and Mary Ann his wife, was born 08/01/1777 and baptised in St Andrew, Jamaica, 17/02/1777.
Edmond Breon owned Chester Vale coffee estate in Port Royal, Jamaica, and died in 1792 leaving his daughter Elizabeth Susanna under the guardianship of Thomas Cockburn. Breon had been producing coffee in Jamaica since at least 1785.
