Sarah Hodges (née Fowler)

???? - 1799

Biography

In her will made in 1798 and proved 14/11/1799, Sarah Hodges widow of Hampton Court after minor legacies left all of her property to her son Thomas Hodges and grand-daughter Selina Elizabeth Hastings (d. c. 1820). Selina Elizabeth Hastings' brother became the 12th Earl of Huntingdon: their mother Sarah Hodges, the daughter of Sarah Hodges nee Fowler of Hampton Court, had married Lt Col. George Hastings in 1769. At some point between 1791 and 1805, the Hodges family appears to have sold Lacovia.
