William Cunninghame 12th of Craigends

1757 - 1792


Biography

Second son of William Cunninghame, 10th of Craigends. A Captain in the 76th Regiment. Inherited on the death of his elder brother Alexander, 11th of Craigends, in 1790. Died unmarried in 1792.

Grandvale had been aquired by his grandfather Alexander 9th of Craigends (1690-1742) and great uncle William Cunninghame (b. 1693), who had married Katherine and Agnes, sisters of Sir James Campbell of Grandvale (d. 1731).
