Biography

Slave-trader, brother and partner of William Brade of Liverpool (q.v.).

  1. James Brade, son of James Brade of Forton, baptised at St Michael, Cockerham, Lancashire, 11/09/1757. His parents James Brade and Agnes Vaughan had married in the same church 25/10/1742.

  2. James Brade, age 54, was buried 13/05/1811 at St Anne, Richmond, Liverpool.
