George Oliphant Kinloch

Scottish soldier, slave-owner in Jamaica after inheritjng property in Jamaica and possibly the Kinloch estate in Strathmore, Scotland from his younger brother John Kinloch, 'who had purchased it [Kinloch] from the proceeds of a fortune made as a sugar planter in Jamaica, and had died in 1770.' His son George Kinloch MP (q.v.) was a radical politician who became MP for Dundee in the Reformed Parliament.
