Slave-owner on Antigua, of Isleworth by the time he made his will in 1757, but also land-owner at Evenly in Northamptonshire, which had come to him through his mother's family the Lisles. Vere Langford Oliver shows him as the owner of Blubber Valley and Rose Valley in St Mary's with 1200 acres in 1743 and of Musqueto Cove with 600 acres. Both estates had been owned by Robert Pearne's father, also Robert (d. c. 1717).
