William Galloway of St Mary

Biography

The will of William Gallaway [sic] of St Mary parish Jamaica was proved in London 19/12/1783, as well as Jamaica and Edinburgh. In the will, he left land to Ann, Margaret and William Galloway, the natural children of George Galloway of St George parish in the same way they held the Hope estate under George Galloway's will. He left monetary legacies to relatives, including £200 to Alex. Galloway jun. of Glasgow, son of his uncle Alex. Galloway of St Ninians, and made Jean Galloway his residuary legatee.
