Maria Barry inherited with her sister Eliza Wilkie £10,000 under the will of their father John Lunan in 1838. She was almost certainly the Maria Barry who died 29/12/1882 formerly of 34 Sydenham Road but late of 34 Dingwall Road Croydon, leaving £417. Census entries show her as born in Jamaica, and married to Col. Charles Barry.
