William Sadler, husband of Hannah, was buried in Purton 31/10/1817 aged 71.
Will of William Sadler gentleman of [Stoke in the parish of] Purton in Wiltshire proved 12/12/1817. He left his property in Jamaica to his eldest son James; he left his estate called Blake Hill in Wiltshire, which he had bought of Joseph Pitt and of which he instructed his son John be allowed to remain tenant, to his son William; and he charged £4100 on the estates for his other children, to whom he also left parcels of land in Wiltshire.
