Rev. James New

Son of Samuel New (q.v.) from whom he inherited Stapletons on Nevis together with the enslaved people attached to it. He also appears to have succeeded to the other (indebted) slave-property on Nevis left to his brother John New (q.v.). To date no will has been found for him.
