Biography

Son and heir of co-Samuel New (q.v.). He reportedly went to Nevis in 1770 to manage his family's estates (and enslaved people) there. To date no will or death-date has been found for him. The moiety of the indebted estates he inherited appear to have passed to his brother Rev. James New (q.v.).
