Biography
Slave-owner in Barbados, heir in 1800 with his wife Jenett nee Walke of Thomas Walke (q.v.). He owned a sugar estate when he wrote his will in 1799 which has not yet been identified.
- Will of Samson Wood Sober of St Peter Barbados [made in 1799] proved 2/04/1811. He left £1000 to his wife Jennett and £3000 to his daughter Judith at 18 and £3000 to his daughter Elizabeth Jennett. He left his sugar works [unnamed] on Barbados to his son Harrison Walke Sober.
