Biography
- Will of Clement Horton storekeeper of HM's Ordnance Barbados [made in 1791] proved 05/06/1813. He left to his wife Mary [then in England] his property at Sevenoaks in Kent and named enslaved people: 'viz. Eoin and George men, Scipio a boy, Betty Grace and Rose women with their future issue and increase and Betty a girl with her future issue and increase..and whatever other slaves I am in possession of'. He made his wife his universal legatee with reversion to his mother for life and then to the two children of his brother William.
