John Prettejohn of Exmouth

Son and heir of John and Charlotte Prettejohn (each of whom q.v.).

1. John Prettejohn, age 73, landed proprietor, born Barbados, was living at 3 Claremont Terrace, Exmouth, with his wife Laura age 37 and daughter Frederica age 35, born Wargrave, Berkshire.

2. Will of John Prettejohn of [Barbados but now residing at] Exmouth Devon [made in 1849] proved 26/08/1853. In the will he said that he had bought an estate in Barbados [Marble Parks?] from William Bryant Worrell. This estate has not yet been identified.
