Biography

  1. A Moses Bravo, not yet of full age, was bequeathed £200 Jamaican currency as "my Godson" in the will of Benjamin Bravo, planter of St Andrew (signed 1742, proved in London 1744). Benjamin Bravo left further bequests to Moses' brother Jacob ("son of my Loving Kinsman David Bravo of the Parish of Kingston Merchant" and Moses' sisters Rebecca (wife of Jacob Henriques of St Catherine, planter), Leah and Sarah Bravo (also the daughters of David Bravo).

  2. Owner of Mount Moses in St Andrew, Jamaica, in 1753.

  3. Moses Bravo was listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owner of 300 acres of land in St Andrew.
