Benjamin Lawrence I

Benjamin Lawrence of Profitable Valley alias Running Gut, born 20/03/1706. Member of Assembly for St James. Owner of 4800 acres of land in 1750. DIed 02/12/1776 aged 72 [sic]. Married someone of unknown forename Cross nee Grey. Two children, Benjamin (d. 1784) and George Whitehorne (1744-1783).

Settled Running Gut on his second son George Whitehorne in 1766.
