1706 - 1784
Husband of Dulcibella Dodwell (q.v.). Henry Dodwell in his will proved 06/02/1784 said that it was understood that Dulcibella's Jamaica property would revert to her on his death, but to make sure he bequeathed them to her specifically. He has an entry in the ODNB as 'religious controversialist and barrister' that makes no reference to his wife or their family. There is also an entry in the ODNB for Dulcibella Dodwell's grandson Edward Dodwell as 'traveller and archaeologist.' The entry (which gives her as Dulcabella) describes Henry Dodwell as a London businessman.
