Daughter of John Allen Olton (q.v), from whom she inherited £250 p.a. for life and £5000 in trust. With her husband Thomas Dunkin of Boulogne she claimed unsuccessfully for the compensation for the Harrow estate on Barbados. Thomas Dunkin died near Bordeaux in 1861 leaving £9000. Mary Dunkin nee Olton predeceased him, dying in 1858 at Bordeaux, when he was shown as of Thomas Dunkin & Son of Bordeaux and Madras. No probate has yet been found for Mary Dunkin nee Olton.
