Slave-owner on St Kitts, resident, and progenitor of a dynasty of slave-owners through his two marriages. His death date is given variously as 1760 and 1763 in the ODNB entries for his sons. Samuel Baker's map 1753 shows him with two estates in the southern part of St Kitts, at Majors Bay and White House Bay, both adjacent to the Great Salt Pond.
