Slave-owner on St Kitts, apparently resident. The 1753 Samuel Baker map shows two estates [or possibly one separated by a river] for Benj. King near Jonathan's Bay in Palmetto Point. Vere Langford Oliver shows a will dated 28/11/1760 sworn 05/01/1761, under which King left an annuity of £300 p.a. to his wife Sarah, £1500 to his daughter Elizabeth, £50 p.a. to his brother Joseph and the residue to his son Joseph King.
