Charlotte Peach (q.v.) and John William Philpot[t] counterclaimed for the remainder of legacy of £3000 under the will of John Vernon for the enslaved people on Vernons in Antigua. The two individuals were the children of Susanna Teresa Vernon, a daughter of John Vernon of Vernons and Little Fosters Egham (d. 1765) and her husband Francis Philpot jun.
