Daughter of Hon. William Barnett II (q.v.) and sister of Ann Brady Smith (nee Barnett) and William Barnett III of Arcadia (both of whom q.v.). She owned a group of nine enslaved people attached to Arcadia whom she sold in 1825 to the Hankeys.
In 1851 Eleanor Barnett unmarried aged 75 born Jamaica 'Income from Interest of Money' was head of household at No. 3 Witham Terrace Liscard Cheshire, with her niece Frances Charlton and two servants. In 1861 she was living aged 86 'aunt-in-law' of Annet[t]e Judge at Leighton, Montgomeryshire, where she died Q2 1861.
Eleanor Brady Barnett died 11/05/1861 at the Parsonage, Leighton, near Welshpool, age 85.
