???? - 1845
Residuary heiress of her uncle Charles Spooner (q.v.) and daughter of John Spooner of Grosvenor Square (q.v.). She married Thomas Shiffner in 1797. The couple do not appear to have had direct ownership of enslaved people: Charles Spooner's plantations and enslaved people were bequeathed to his male relatives. In 1798 she and her husband were party to a deed to release trusts of 1776 under which two unnamed estates in Middle Island St Kitts 'heretofore of Stephen Bearcroft of London merchant deceased' and the debt owed to Thomas Maitland attached to them were settled on Thomas Maitland and his wife Jane Mathew: again, her role appears to have been as heiress-at-law of Charles Spooner as one of the original trustees.
