Son of John of Bishops Hull Somerset. Matriculated Corpus Christi Oxford 15/12/1808 aged 18. BA 1814 MA 1819. Vicar of Harpford Devon 1845-1855, 30 years curate of Merton Devon, died 03/11/1855 'see Eton School Lists'. Ordained 1815 when he was given as BA Corpus Christi Oxford. Marriage of Rev. John Campbell Fisher of Merton in Devon and Harriet Litchfield at St Andrew Holborn 11/03/1818. In 1851 he was shown aged 60 as Vicar of Harpford in Devon living with his wife Harriet aged 61.
Letters of administration for the estate of the Rev. John Campbell Fisher late of Merton Devon who died 03/11/1855 granted 24/04/1868, effects under £50. A probate had been granted January 1856.
T71/870 St Elizabeth Nos. 362 and 730; T71/1608 letter from Rev John Campbell Fisher, Merton Parsonage Okehampton [Devon] 14/2/183x stating that he was executor of his grandfather late Robert Campbell of Blackheath Kent, and had prior claim to estates of father John Fisher for a judgement bond of £9000 sterling.
