Thomas Gilby appears to have been the innkeeper of the Woolpack Tavern St Peters Alley, Cornhill, and was presumably the son of Thomas Gilby linen draper of Oxford Street [and formerly of Bath], who appears in the will of Julius Samuel Rich as his residuary legatee.
