Biography

A group of annuitants on Richmond estate in Jamaica (including Wm. Test now or late of Greenwich) were listed as parties to an original agreement with William Gray in an indenture with Emanuel Baruch Lousada and Jacob Israel Bernal 13/10/1784 for the payment of their annuities to which the two estates [Old and New Works] were subject on their purchase by Lousada and Bernal.

  1. Will of William Test late Chief of the Corps of Military Surveyors [now residing at Worthing in the parish] of Broadwater Sussex [but formerly of Greenwich and late of the Tower of London] [made in 1819] proved 30/03/1822. The will is silent on the annuity, leaving monetary legacies of over £10,000 and personal effects to a very wide range of individuals throughout England.
