Biography

Daughter and co-heir of Francis Baxter (q.v.. Her mother was Sarah Baxter nee Manning (q.v.).

  1. Will of Ann Baxter spinster of Clapham Surrey [made in 1803] proved 05/05/1810. She left to her nephew Edward Manning Paplay all her 'right tithe and interest in and to an estate situate in the island of Jamaica called or known by the name of St Tuly's [sic], as well as the remainder of a debt due to her from the estate of John Jackson late a West India merchant but now residing in or near Hammersmith, a brickmaker. [St Toolie's had belonged to her uncle Edward Manning].
