Biography

Senior partner in Lane, Son and Fraser, American merchants of London, which failed after his death and the assignees of which were in possession of New River estate c. 1804, according to the will of Walter Maynard the elder (q.v.) made in that year. Under a deed of 21/03/1794 the assignees of Lane, Son and Fraser (George Lee, banker of Lombard Street; George Ewing gentleman of George Street; and Thomas Latham of Tower Hill) appointed William Priddie and James Tyson of St Kitts attorneys.
