Daughter of Charles Farquharson MD and sister of Matthew and William Farquharson and of Frances Stone (each of whom q.v.). Born Jamaica but in Britain by at least 1871.
1881 census shows Isabella Farquharson age 90 b. Jamaica 'aunt of family' living at 21 Eardley Crescent with a family called Stone, headed by a widow whose forename is illegible aged 64 also born in Jamaica and a William Farquharson aged 24 born in British Honduras. In 1871 Isabella Farquharson was a lodger aged 80 born in Jamaica with Petherick family in Islington, including a Frances Stone aged 18 also a lodger. Both the 1871 and 1881 censuses show her as unmarried.
In 1817, she registered one enslaved person [Helen] in her own name, it appears in person [St Elizabeth 1817 p. 420], immediately after an entry witnessed for John Fry by Charles Farquharson. Registration of the death of Isabella Farquharson aged 91 Kensington Q1 1882. Will of Isabella Farquharson of 202 Fulham Road proved 15/03/1882 by her nephew John Henry Sumner Stone, person estate £45.
