LBS has concluded that there were two William Ricketts Johnson: this man, who married Deborah Heath Ruddick (q.v.) at St Martin-in-the-Fields in London 24/01/1818, when he was shown as a bachelor, and a second man (William Ricketts Johnson the elder, q.v.) who had married Catherine Williams and was dead by 1807.
Deborah Heath Ruddick was the daughter of William Fleming (q.v.) and his wife Catherine Eleanor nee Nightingale, baptised in Westmoreland in 1773.
