Resident in Jamaica, small-scale slave-owner in Trelawny and also awardee in a number of small claims in western Jamaica some of which he might have purchased from the underlying slave-owner. He also appeared as the 'executor' of Robert Shedden senior (q.v.) in Trelawny No. 123, although he was more probably the local attorney for the executors under the will (who were Robert Shedden's sons). No death-date or will has yet been found for him: he was presumably connected to Conway Heighington merchant [formerly of Bristol] now one of HM JP's and Lieutenant in the RN of Harbour Grace Conception Newfoundland proved 16/11/1796, although this will (made in 1785) makes no reference to him.
PROB 11/1281/162.
