???? - 7th Dec 1836
Awarded the compensation for the Parry estate on St Kitts after counterclaiming with Thomas Garth (q.v.) for the balance of the purchase money.
Death at Park Corner (Hampshire) aged 51 of Sir John Lloyd Dukinfield the 6th bart. He was the second but eldest surviving son of Sir Nathaniel the 5th bart., by Katharine sister of John Warde Esq., of Squerries Kent. Educated at Rugby, succeeded to the title 20/10/1824; died unmarried. The title went to his brother the Rev. Henry Robert Dukinfield Vicar of St Martin's in the Fields Westminster.
Will of Sir John Lloyd Dukinfield of Heckfield Hampshire proved 14/01/1837; will of Sir Nathaniel Dukinfield of Ruscombe Berkshire proved 16/11/1824.
Debrett's Baronetage provides no clear sight of a path to part-ownership of the estate by the Dukinfield family. It is possible that Dukinfield and Garth were trustees.
T71/879 St Kitts claim no. 351.
