John Besly Dickson (1813-????) was the son of Mary Sarah Besly (q.v.) and the reputed son of William Augustus Dickson (q.v.).
John Besley Dickson was recorded as a "mustee" living in Lucea, Hanover, aged 10 in 1823 with his grandmother, Dorothy McLeod, his uncles, Joseph (q.v.) and George Besly (q.v.), and his siblings, George Besly Dickson, Joseph Besly Dickson (q.v.) and Alison H. Dickson (q.v.)
John Besley Dickson inherited enslaved people from the estate of his mother, Mary Sarah Besly between 1829 and 1832.
With his brother Joseph Besly Dickson, he inherited his father’s house and land in Lucea under the Will of William Augustus Dickson (probated 1842).
