Biography

  1. William Augustus Dickson (1786-c. 1842) was the son of William Dickson of Lasswade near Edinburgh, a brewer and distiller, and went to Jamaica to join his cousin Richard Dickson of Lucea in 1807: he retained property at Lasswade, which is mentioned in his will (dated 01/07/1839; proved 05/04/1842) and left to his son William Brown Dickson.
