1781 - 1841
Will of George Bryan Jeffers, Proprietor of certain estates and lands buildings and chattels effects and so forth in the Island of Montserrat of Island of Montserrat [made in 1839] proved 12 October 1841. After several monetary legacies, including £50 to George John Jeffers gentleman of colour, formerly of this island but now of Trinidad, he left his property including the Needsmust & Freemans estate in trust to his wife Harriet Sarah and their daughter Anne.
Administration of the will of Harriet Sarah Jeffers, late of Grove Cottages Stoke Newington who died 23/01/1860 at Hong Kong granted to Anne Norie, wife of William Francis Norie, of 1 Grahams Road Dalston, the daughter and only child, effects in England under £200.
More monumental inscriptions p. 47 shows him as buried in Montserrat, aged 60.
