Son of Edward Huggins (1755-1829), brother of Edward Huggins [junior] (q.v.) and resident on Nevis, where his grand- daughter Jessy (daughter of Jessy Huggins and Henry Harding) was born in 1836.
Co-owner with Pinney & Case of Bristol of the ships Charles in 1830 and Earl of Liverpool 1830-1845.
