She was the widow of George Kearton (1775-1827), daughter-in-law of Ann Doyle or Kearton (q.v.) and John Kearton of St Vincent (q.v.), mother of Mary Elizabeth Crosby (nee Kearton) and mother-in-law of James Crosby (q.v.).
In 1851 Mary G. Kearton widow aged 60 annuitant born West Indies St Vincent was living in High Street, Barnstaple Devon with one servant.
The death at the age of 78 at 43 Offa Street, Bedford of Mary Gerald Kearton, relict of George Kearton of St Vincent, was reported in 1869.
