Co-owner (with his brother Thomas) of Keartons on St Vincent, son of John Kearton of St Vincent and Ann Doyle, husband of Mary Gerald Kearton and father-in-law of James Crosby (all of whom q.v.). Resident but dying in London in 1827.
Lately...In Stanhope Street [death of] G. Kearton Esq. of Kearton Hall, Island of St Vincent.
Memorial inscription in Walcot, Bath: "Sacret to the Memory of George Kearton Esqur. of the Island of St Vincent born Anno Domini July 28th, 1775 and Departed this Life Jany 22nd 1827." Given his burial it is assumed he died at Great Stanhope Street, Bath.
