1786 - ????
Tentatively identified as Joanna Alleyne née Bishop, step-daughter of Sir Fitzroy Maclean (q.v.).
Joanna was the daughter of John Bishop of Barbados and Elizabeth née Kidd. She married John Gay Alleyne (1785-1821) on 01/07/1807. They had 8 children, including Haynes Gibbes Alleyne (born 14/10/1813) who became health officer in Port Jackson, New South Wales, in 1852 and was an influential figure in medical circles in the colony. Following the death of John Bishop, Elizabeth Kidd remarried in 1814, to Sir Fitzroy Maclean.
Joanna had a daughter - Joanna Bishop Alleyne, born in 1810 who in 1836 married Philip Chetwode RN, so it is possible this claim was made by her instead.
