Awarded with her husband Rev. George Crawford Ricketts Fearon (q.v.) the compensation for seventeen enslaved people in Clarendon Jamaica.
Mary Burbury McKenzie, baptised 12/04/1786 in Vere, Jamaica, daughter of Arthur McKenzie and [blank] his wife. Rev. George Crawford Ricketts Fearon, rector of Vere, married Miss Mackenzie, daughter of the late Arthur Mackenzie, Esquire, of Clarendon, at Old Harbour Church, St Dorothy, in 1818. Mary Angelina, daughter of Rev. G. C. K. Fearon and his wife Mary Burbury, baptised in Vere, 03/12/1819; Eliza Oakes, same parents, baptised in Clarendon 30/05/1821.
In 1861, Mary B. Fearon, age 71, Fundholder, born Jamaica, was living at 26 North Parade, Brighton, with her daughter Eliza O. Fearon, unmarried, age 39, Fundholder, born Jamaica, a servant and a visitor Mary A. Turner, age 33, unmarried, born Jamaica. In 1871, Mary Burburry [sic] Fearon widow aged 85 annuitant born Jamaica was living at 26 North Parade Penzance as head of household with her daughter Eliza Oakes Fearon unmarried aged 49 also annuitant and born Jamaica, two servants and a visitor, Harriet Smith unmarried aged 45 'Interest of money' born Jamaica (note this is Harriet Luff Smith, daughter of Dr William Smith and Milborough Daniel Smith nee Tabois, both q.v.). She died 21/11/1879 age 93 and was buried 26/11/1879 in St Mary's, Penzance.
In 1881, Eliza Fearon, age 59, "dividends and annuity", was living at 16 Alma Terrace, Penzance, with her aunt Mary Rodon, age 83, born Jamaica, and two servants. In 1891 Eliza Oakes Fearon was living with Harriet Smith in 4 rooms at 27 Meridian Place, Clifton; in 1901 Harriet, age 75, was living at 8 Beach Road, Weston-Super-Mare, with Eliza Fearon as a visitor. Eliza Oakes Fearon died age 85, of Lescudjack House, Penzance, effects £2992 10s 11d.
Her shares in the Great Western Railway were transferred to Elizabeth Oakes Fearon 31/08/1886.
