Attorney of 43 Bedford Row and trustee of the marriage settlement of Mr and Mrs Robert Johnston (q.v.), awarded the compensation for Harmony Hill in Jamaica.

  1. Partnership of Robert Webber of 43 Bedford Row and Thomas Bland of the same address as attorneys and solicitors dissolved by mutual consent 20/02/1840. In March 1841, the partners declared that they were insolvent.

T71/857 St Ann No. 118; T71/1181 St Ann No. 39 identifies him as 'gentleman' of 43 Bedford Row, in another claim related to Mr and Mrs Robert Johnston. The Thomas Bland of St Pancras who had married Mary Vredenburg in 1831 was possibly this man: Mary Lawrence Vredenburg (q.v.) appears in the compensation records as the guardian of Mary Vredenburg and was very probably her mother.
