  1. Will of Robert Eccles, late merchant of Glasgow Lanarkshire proved 08/09/1848. He left £20,000 to his niece Eliza and her children (she was the daughter of Robert's late brother James, also a merchant in Glasgow, and married James Hunter of Hafton in 1835).
