Biography

One of a group of heirs of Benjamin Mor[r]ison awarded the compensation for the Bogney estate in Westmoreland Jamaica.

Unlike the other claimants, identified as the sister, nieces and nephew of Benjamin Morison, James Jenkinson has yet to be identified. He was presumably connected with Wilhelmina Jenkinson, who counterclaimed as the administratrix of Benjamin Morison, and appears to have been in Jamaica in the late 1820s and early 1830s.

  1. 13 September [1825]. At Bognie Westmoreland, Jamaica, in consequence of a fall from his horse, Benjamin Morrison Esq., of Bognie, in the 59th year of his age.
