Biography

All three estates for which Nathaniel Cave was manager or attorney in the late 1820s and 1830s were linked to Robert Haynes, who had himself been attorney on Seawells and Newtons 1817-1826 and was the owner of The Bath. He reported that Nathaniel Cave had been his attorney since 1804. This could not be Nathaniel Cave of Stirling Plantation (b. 1796, q.v.), although conceivably the Nathaniel Cave b. 1796 could have taken on the roles from a Nathaniel Cave fl.<\em> 1804.
