1. The British Guiana Colonists Index gives his death as 05/09/1840 in Velp, near Arnhem. A further online family tree gives him as born 04/01/1791 and baptised 06/01/1791 in Varel, Oldenburg, Germany, son of Johann Prass (1740-1780) and Becke Hullmann (1751-1825), buried in Velp, the Netherlands, 05/09/1840, and a Lutheran.
