Natural son of John Noble senior (q.v.) and Susan Ross, awarded the compensation with his sister Mary Ann Noble (q.v.) for a group of 13 enslaved people in British Guiana and claiming unsuccessfully for a much larger award there, probably Maryville, the money from which was paid to John Bolton (q.v.).
T71/1056: J. & M.A. Noble signed the claim for British Guiana no. 2400. Affidavit from Peter Girvin, of Liverpool, partner of John Bolton, attesting that J. & M.A. Noble, of British Guiana, were illegitimate children of Susan Ross by John Noble.
